For the past few weeks we’ve been working with Heineken on an exciting and truly innovative campaign running on Xbox Live within the Xbox 360 dashboard. This is a new service that we offer and a new type of ad placement within the Xbox 360 dashboard that takes the form of a square tile ad that can be clicked on, and takes users to a fully functional website/landing page specifically for the Xbox 360 environment. We call this new service ‘Console Integration’, and we offer it on both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 consoles.
Console Integration offers the ability to deliver time sensitive campaigns, and can be geo-targeted to different countries, and also we can age-target gamers too at the Ad Server level. This particular campaign for Heineken ran for 2 weeks, and targeted just the Canadian market – reaching Xbox users with Canadian IP Addresses only. It was a collaboration with our friends at Microsoft Advertising, and we are happy to share here a great little demo video of the Heineken campaign in action! 🙂
